1) Is the service free?

The service is entirely free for both you and your guests. The gifts are sold at the same price as in our partners' boutiques. 


2) Am I restricted to Dreamlist’s catalogue of products?

No, with Dreamlist you have access to all the products and services our partners offer in their stores. The products on the website are only a sample of what is available.

3) How can I add a product that is not on Dreamlist’s site to my gift list?

Just let us know the product you have seen in one of our partners’ stores, giving the name, the brand, the price and, if possible, a photo. Our customer service is also at hand to find any specific item you are looking for.

4) Do I have to buy the gifts chosen on my wedding list?

No, the gift list you have sent to your friends and family is only a suggestion. The money you receive from your guests will constitute your Credit with Dreamlist that you can spend as you wish in the more than 150 partner stores.
However, Dreamlist keeps a record of the gifts to which your family and friends have contributed, so that you can thank them.

5) Can I amend my list at any time?

Yes, your gift list can be modified at any time. However, Dreamlist keeps a record of the gifts to which your family and friends have contributed, so that you can thank them.

6) How can I organize my honeymoon?

1. Choose the destination of your dreams, then contact the travel agency of your choice from among our partners directly to plan your honeymoon with their help.

2. Dreamlist will then present your trip on your personal website, broken down into activities: for example, a candlelit dinner by the waterside, a massage for two, a swim with dolphins etc. Click here for an example of a honeymoon.

3. Your family and friends can then offer you these activities and constitute a Credit for you which will serve to pay the travel agent’s bill.

Your guests will appreciate being identified with a specific activity rather than simply paying money into an account or to a travel agency.

7) How do I pay to book my honeymoon?

All travel agencies request a percentage of the total cost of a trip when making the bookings.

As soon as you have received enough contributions, you can easily make this down payment by issuing a gift voucher in the name of the partner travel agency concerned for the amount of the deposit.

If you have not received enough contributions, you will need to make up the difference to your Dreamlist account so as to be able to pay the agency. Once the gifts contributed are sufficient to pay for the whole trip, you can issue a gift voucher in the name of the partner travel agency. They will then reimburse you the extra amount you advanced them in the first place.

8) The store or agency of my choice is not among your partners.

Send us their particulars to info@dreamlist.ch and we will invite them to become our partners.

9) Do your partners offer gift vouchers?

Yes, our partners will offer gift vouchers for whatever amount you choose. To add a gift voucher to your list, just insert a gift voucher from the partner you choose following the instructions in your Dreamlist account under the tab ‘My list’:



10) I do not want a website, just a gift list!

You may use the gift list alone. The default tabs are ‘Welcome’ and ‘Gift list’. If you would like to delete the ‘Welcome’ page, connect to your Dreamlist account, in the menu go to ‘My personal website’ and delete the text and the photo in the ‘Welcome’ tab.

11) What are the conditions if I wish to withdraw my money?



At Dreamlist you can also decide to withdraw the money received. Please find the conditions here below:

- No commission will be deducted if you spend more than 70% of your Credit with our partners.
- A 5% commission will be deducted from the amount withdrawn if you spend between 40% and 70% of your Credit with our partners. 

- A 15% commission will be deducted from the amount withdrawn if you spend less than 40% of your Credit with our partners.

12) How are online payments made secure?



We use the widely-recognised PayPal platform, personalised to our needs. 

This system has been recognised as secure and is used by many large e-commerce websites, such as Ebay. Your data is encrypted, and is not shared with us in any form. You may buy with us without concern for the security of your data.

13) How can I guarantee that the money received from my family and friends will belong to me?

The money received at Dreamlist goes into a special account for the future bride and groom, which can only be debited on their order. Whatever happens, that money belongs to the future bride and groom and will be restored to them.
When you decide to make a purchase, we pay the store for you and debit your account. You will be informed each time you receive a contribution and after each purchase.

14) How do you guarantee data confidentiality?

All your data is stored on our own servers. We do not share your data with any third party, only with those of our partners who need it to communicate with you. 


No information related to forms of payment (i.e. credit card information) is shared with us by Datatrans, our online payment partner, which keeps that data secret.

15) How do I set up a Dreamlist account?

Nothing simpler! Just click on ‘Create my site’ and follow the instructions on the form. Once you have registered, you will receive an e-mail with your access codes and a link to activate your Dreamlist account.

16) How do my guests send their gifts? 



Your guests can purchase gifts either directly online through a secure interface with their credit card, which will immediately credit your account, or can ask to receive a payment slip and bill by post or do a bank transfer. In the latter case, we will credit your account on receipt of payment.


17) Can my guests share the price of a gift? 



Yes. Each guest decides if he wants to offer a gift entirely or if he wishes to participate with an amount of his choice. 

18) Am I informed when I receive a gift? 



Whether your guests pay online or with a payment slip, we inform you as soon as we register the gift. You will receive an email with the donor's name, the description of the gift, and the total amount of their purchase.

19) Some of my family and friends are not on the Internet. What can I do?

On your personal page you just have to click on the command ‘Print’ which you will find on the upper left-hand side of your site. In that way you will obtain a hard copy of your message and photos.
To print even the tiniest details of your blog (the frame, the background …) proceed as follows:


Open Internet Explorer. Go to the options. Choose ‘Print background colours and images’.

For Firefox: Go to page settings. Select "Print background (colors and images)".

You will thus obtain a printout of the backgrounds, your messages and your photos. You can then simply print your gift list and send it to those of your friends who do not have Internet.
They can call our hotline 0848 318 318 to make their gifts. They will be able to pay by credit card or postal payment slip.

20) How do I order my gifts?

Select the gift you want from your list and click on ‘Order’. Your request goes to the store. The store will then make you an offer, giving you the choice between collecting your gift from the store or having it delivered (there may be a delivery charge).

Make your choice and validate the order. Your Dreamlist account will be debited the corresponding amount and Dreamlist will take care of payment to the store.

If you cannot find the product you need on Dreamlist, you can order gift vouchers from any of our partners.

21) Is home delivery free ?



According to the type of gift and the delivery address, each partner boutique decides whether or not to bill the cost of delivery.
For every order, you will be offered two prices- one for the object to be collected from the shop, and one including delivery, which may be higher. You can then confirm one of the two prices, and your dreamlist account will be automatically debited. If you do not confirm a price, you will not be charged for the item.

22) If one of my gifts is delivered with a defect, to whom do I address my complaint?



We select the best partners throughout Switzerland. Nevertheless, in such a case, you have the same statutory rights as any other buyer.
